Niger Madrasa

🌙 Our Story

Al Hannah is not only dedicated to serving students, but we are also on a mission to help orphans in need. Currently we have been able to build a small orphanage/school, however the materials used were cheaply made due to lack of funding and isn't sustainable. A portion proceeds is donated to build a long-lasting Orphanage and school that will inspire our orphans to achieve high goals and success. We are passionate about our project and want you to be a part of it. Currently we serve 11 orphans, however there are 147 on our waiting list. These children either have lost one or two of their parents. Their ages range from 0-14 years old. Please read their inspiring stories below.
Abdoul Nasser Ibrahim
Our Orphans in Niger

Each one of our beloved Orphans has a story. They want to share it with you.

Abdoul Nasser Ibrahim, a 12 year old orphan has faced unimaginable hardship. After loosing his father at a young age, he was left vulnerable and all alone. Despite his mother's attempts to provide for him, she struggles to make ends meet. One day he had an accident which caused his life to take a devastating turn. While walking down the classroom stairs, he fell and broke his arm. The injury saddened him so much that he became withdrawn and stopped attending school. He became hopeless. His mother was unable to afford medical care and watched helplessly as her child's emotional and physical well-being deteriorated. Now Abdoul's once-bright future became clouded with uncertainty. He is in need of medical treatment for his arm, food to nourish his body, and education to inspire him to learn. Without these basic fundamental necessities he will loose hope. Abdoul's story is a heart breaking one and a reminder of the vulnerability of orphaned children. Without our support they will both be left to face the realities of life alone. His voice cries out to us beginning for a life filled with purpose and hope-a chance to heal and thrive. Let's answer the call.

❤️ How Your Tuition Makes a Difference

Education for the orphans

Part of your tuition funds Qur’an classes for orphans and children from low-income families in Niger. Many of these children cannot afford formal education, yet they dream of memorizing and understanding the Book of Allah.

Your contribution helps provide:

  • 🔹 Qualified Quran teachers
  • 🔹 Learning materials (mushafs, slates, pens, etc.)
  • 🔹 Safe learning spaces within the orphanage
  • 🔹 Moral and spiritual guidance
  • 🔹 Community support and empowerment

By supporting these children, you’re not just investing in their future—you’re nurturing hope, building self-esteem, and empowering them to become leaders in their communities. Every lesson they learn is a step toward a brighter tomorrow.

Education for the orphans

Hunger often stands between a child and their education. Through your tuition, we ensure that each child receives nutritious daily meals, giving them the energy to learn, play, and grow strong.

These meals include:

  • 🔹 Freshly cooked local dishes
  • 🔹 Clean drinking water
  • 🔹 Occasional fruit and milk support for balanced nutrition

Because a nourished child learns better, prays better, and lives better.
